Optimistic Outlook for Business Schools in Europe

The Financial Times recently released a report of the top business schools in Europe, and many of ACI’s valued Executive Education partners made it into the top ten.

They also reported that enrollment has increased in European business schools across the board, and that more professors are moving to Europe to teach in Executive Education programs.

One such program is Ashridge Business School, which is located 30 miles north of London. Ashridge was featured in an article by the Association of Business Schools Task Force called “The Role of UK Business Schools in Driving Innovation and Growth in the Domestic Economy.” This article stresses the importance of context in Executive Education and investigates the relationships between theory and practice in Executive Education.

IMD, another of our partners, is in Lausanne, Switzerland. IMD is consistently ranked highest by influential business publications in Executive Education open enrollment programs, custom programs, and MBA programs.

London Business School, located in the Marylebone area of London, is planning for a major expansion project to their main campus to accommodate growth. Idan Ofer of the Quantum Pacific Group has pledged £ 25 million toward the project. This new facility will be named The Sammy Ofer Centre in honor of Idan’s late father.
