HBS Enrolls Its Most MBA Candidates

Classes began at Harvard Business School (HBS) at the end of August, with its highest enrollment ever: 1,010 MBA candidates. The class of 2023 is also the most diverse ever at HBS. Although it trails several peer schools in terms of gender parity, such as Wharton, Kellogg, and Duke, the fact that 46% of HBS’ entering students are women is significant.

As a direct result of the pandemic, roughly 100 students had deferred their admission last year. It was widely predicted that Harvard would get its most applicants ever, since its two application deadlines were too very early in the cycle, ending in January.
