University of Chicago Graham School Offers Information Session for Master of Liberal Arts

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies is holding an information session for its Master of Liberal Arts degree. This event will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the Gleacher Center in Chicago.

The focus of this meeting is Bridging the Gap: The Power of the Liberal Arts in the Age of the Algorithm. It will explore how to successfully apply the skills and techniques learned in the human sciences to the professional world.

The agenda includes:

5:30 PM: Overview and Introductions – Fred Beuttler, Associate Dean of Liberal Arts at the University of Chicago Graham School

5:40 – 6:00 PM: Keynote – Christian Madsbjerg, Senior Partner of ReD Associates and author of Sensemaking

6:10 – 6:50 PM: Panel Discussion – Bridging the Gap: The Power of the Liberal Arts in the Age of the Algorithm
