Thunderbird Presents Insight into Current Global Trends: Talent as a Global Phenomenon

Thunderbird  School of Global Management will present an Executive Education session at this year’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference and Exposition, to be held in Orlando, FL, June 21-25, 2014.

Talent as a Global Phenomenon will explore trends in global talent management, as well as the required capabilities for Human Resource professionals. Thunderbird presenters include Dennis Baltzley, Senior Vice President of Executive Education; Paul Kinsinger, Executive Director of Executive Education; and Karen Walch, Associate Professor.

This conference will deepen the partnership of Thunderbird with SHRM. Baltzley stated, “A global mindset is critical today in every organization and in their Human Resource professionals. Even companies that appear focused in a single domestic market, their workforce, supply chain, and especially competitors are all increasingly global.”

Thunderbird’s Talent as a Global Phenomenon is a supplement to the regular SHRM conference, and is only available to attendees who pre-register.  The session offers recertification credits for PHR, SPHR, and GPHR certification. This course takes place at the Orange County Convention Center June 21 – 23, 2014 (preceding the regular conference). You can register by visiting http://annual.shrm.org/ or by calling (800) 283-7476.
