Dean Deborah Crown and Eric Spiegel, Executive in Residence

The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College has named Eric Spiegel, former President and CEO of Siemens USA, its newest Executive in Residence.

Spiegel has more than 35 years of global leadership and consulting experience, which he will leverage to help Crummer students, particularly those in the Early Advantage MBA Program, which is a full-time day program specifically for recent college graduates and career changers. Prior to his position at Siemens USA, Spiegel had global roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Booz & Co., including working as the Managing Director for International Businesses, including Asia, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East. He currently serves as a part-time special advisor for growth companies and is on the Board of Directors for Liberty Mutual Insurance and Dover Corporation.

Considered a thought leader, he co-authored Energy Shift and has contributed to articles on many topics. He also served on President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Steering Committee. Spiegel will help teach a course on Leadership with an Entrepreneurial Mindset, with Dr. Craig McAllaster. Spiegel comments, “As a member of the College’s Board of Trustees, I look forward to extending my relationship with Rollins to help prepare young leaders to navigate a global business environment that is changing more rapidly than ever. As an MBA graduate, I understand the value of combining a quality business program with practical advice and mentorship. With Florida’s top-ranked MBA program and location in Orlando, one of the nation’s fastest growing innovation hubs, Rollins’ Crummer School is the ideal place to make a lasting impact.”

Dean Deborah Crown says, “We are honored to welcome Eric Spiegel as our newest Executive in Residence. His proven leadership experience at complex organizations in a range of fields – including energy, power, chemical, water, industrial, automotive, and healthcare fields – will enrich our curriculum and reinforce our mission to develop business leaders who strive to have positive impacts on their organizations and communities.”
