Professor Jagdish Sheth Receives Distinguished Global Thinker Award from IILM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IILM Institute for Higher Education recently conferred its 11^th Distinguished Global Thinker Award on Professor Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Professor Sheth is the one of the foremost experts in the world on consumer psychology and marketing, with more than 50 years of experience in teaching and research at Columbia University, MIT, Emory, the University of Southern California, the University of Illinois, and other universities. He advised former President Bill Clinton and Prime Minister Modi, and has contributed to scholarly journals on consumer behavior, relationship marketing, and related topics. In addition, Professor Sheth was instrumental in establishing the first Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Kolkata.

Mrs. Malvika Rai, Chairperson, IILM, presented the award to Professor Sheth on January 15, 2018. At that time, Sheth delivered a lecture titled “How the Trump Presidency will Transform U.S. Trade Policy: Implications for India.”
