Chicago Booth School of Business – New Hong Kong Campus Offers Executive MBA Opportunities to the Asia-Pacific Region

The Chicago Booth School of Business is now offering their Executive MBA at a new Hong Kong campus. Students from all over the world have registered to study at this exciting new campus, including 16% US citizens, 11% from Mainland China, and 10% from Hong Kong. The remaining participants represent over 25 countries including Korea, Japan, Russia, and Vietnam.

Chicago Booth decided to move the program from Singapore to Hong Kong as a strategic plan to expand their global effect and engagement. A campus in Hong Kong allows the school to stay diverse and reach out to businesses in Mainland China and all of North Asia, while still keeping their Southeast Asian student presence. The temporary campus is located at Hong Kong University, in a newly renovated building called Cyberport 2. Booth was recently given conditional approval to build at the ex-Victoria Road Detention Centre site on Mount Davis, which is still subject to approval. The Hong Kong campus hosts alumni events, cohort mixers, student dinners/drinks, as well as many other networking opportunities. In addition to the Executive MBA program, the Hong Kong campus offers non-degree Executive Education courses.

The Booth School of Business has campuses in Chicago, Hong Kong, and London. Chicago Booth’s faculty, who fly to both Hong Kong and London campuses for their courses, teach the curriculum at the Hong Kong campus. Students enrolled in the Asia program spend three weeks in Chicago and one week in London, allowing for a unique approach to collaboration between the campuses. Chicago and London students also spend a week studying at the Hong Kong campus.
