CEOWORLD Identifies Top Institutes for Business Studies Worldwide

A recent article on the CEOWORLD Web site identifies the top institutes for business studies in the world: MIT, Harvard University, Stanford University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge.

MIT, incorporated in 1861, was founded to accelerate the United States’ industrial revolution. Its five schools include the MIT Sloan School of Management, home to an MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Business Analytics, a combined MBA and MS in Engineering, and Ph.D. programs. The Sloan School also offers an Executive MBA, the Sloan Fellows MBA (a full-time MBA for mid-career leaders), and executive education programs covering a wide variety of topics. MIT ranked No. 1 in CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best universities in the world for 2019.

Harvard University, established in 1636, has 10 degree-granting schools, including Harvard Business School (HBS). HBS consistently ranks among the top providers in the world for business degrees, and offers a full-time MBA, doctoral program in management, and many executive education programs. Harvard ranked No. 4 in CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best universities in the world for 2019.

Stanford University, founded in 1885, is home to 18 interdisciplinary research institutes and seven schools. The Graduate School of Business offers a full-time MBA, MSx, Ph.D., online, and a variety of executive education programs. Stanford ranked No. 2 in CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best universities in the world for 2019.

The University of Oxford is the oldest in the English-speaking world and includes 44 colleges and halls, including Saïd Business School, which offers an MBA; Executive MBA; Ph.D. in Management Studies; and Master’s in Financial Economics, Finance, Law, and Strategic Management. Oxford ranked No. 5 in CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best universities in the world for 2019.

The University of Cambridge, founded in 1209, is the second-largest institute in the English-speaking world, and houses 29 colleges, including Cambridge Judge Business School, which offers business and economics degrees, master’s of finance or accounting, MBA, and MPhil programs. The University of Cambridge ranked No. 3 in CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best universities in the world for 2019.
