Penn President Amy Gutmann and Provost Wendel Pritchett announced last week that Erika H. James has been named the next Dean of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, effective July 1, 2020. She will be the first woman and the first African American to serve as Dean of Wharton School.
