Yale School of Management will be offering its Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing program July 29 – August 3, 2018.

This one-week program, to be held at Edward P. Evans Hall at the Yale School of Management, is designed for leaders from publishing companies of all sizes, as well as others in the publishing industry. Representative titles of participants include CEO, president, founder, chief marketing officer, chief operating officer, editor, managing editor; marketing, sales, publicity manager/director; digital strategist; and audience development and subscription manager/director.

The course combines practical wisdom from publishing experts with research and management techniques from Yale School of Management. It presents examples of how best-in-class publishers manage their businesses, from editorial, marketing and business strategies, to digital transformation. Participants will gain new frameworks and skills in consumer-insight-driven marketing, leadership, and innovation.

Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing will focus on challenges and opportunities in publishing, including branding, organizational growth, and executive decision-making.
