Vanderbilt University Offers New Executive Education Programs and Enhances Partnership with iLab Solutions’ Boston Team – Agilent Technologies Has Acquired iLab, Leader in Cloud-based Laboratory Management Software

Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management offers one- to three-day on-campus executive education programs, as well as online programs, focusing on topics including leadership, management, and strategy. They are offering some new programs this year, including:

* Leading Millennials, a two-day program targeted to managers, directors, and executives leading multigenerational teams, and leaders interested in learning best practices for millennial productivity and efficiency. Participants will learn who millennials are and how to lead them, including best practices from companies who have successfully leveraged this generation. They will gain tools for managing the differences between millennials and older generations in ways that promote a positive company culture.

* Making Strategic Business Decisions, a two-day program aimed at project managers, supervisors and executives leading organizational change, and directors moving up to lead divisions or large-scale organizations

* Digital Marketing: How to Stand Out from the Competition, a two-day program designed for managers interested in understanding digital marketing, as well as individuals with online marketing responsibilities or managers responsible for advertising budgets

* Managing Business Processes for Performance, a two-day program designed for C-suite executives, supply-chain managers and directors, project managers, and process-flow specialists

Vanderbilt University partners with iLab on the CORES platform, which provides core facility management to academic research institutions. iLab Solutions is the market leader in cloud-based solutions for core laboratory management, and provides laboratory management services to universities, research hospitals, and independent institutes worldwide. The partnership brought the two leading systems into one, offering deeper and broader functionality, including greater oversight across core facilities, centralized reporting, more exposure of what facilities are available and what services and expertise they offer, internal accounts receivable running much more efficiently, a consolidated system for scheduling reservations, and streamlined billing and invoicing. On June 27, 2016, Agilent Technologies announced that it had signed a definitive agreement under which it will acquire substantially all the assets of iLab.
