New International Executive Master of Global Leadership and Strategy from Thunderbird School of Global Management

Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix Campus

Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University presents a new degree that will take its students around the world for one year.

Applications from international professionals with eight or more years of management experience in business, government, or non-profit companies are now being accepted for the Executive Master of Global Leadership and Strategy degree at Thunderbird. Students will study in six different locations throughout the yearlong program, starting in January 2020, and can continue to work while enrolled. Participants will complete the 30-credit degree in one calendar year.

The program was designed to provide a balance between advanced and emerging markets. “Our goal is to work with companies to get them to sponsor these individuals,” said Sanjeev Khagram, Dean and Director General of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. “Another potential candidate would be entrepreneurs who have their own companies that are already doing well in a regional market and they want to take them global.”

Students will work with a leadership coach to develop an individual development plan. Khagram said, “They’re in a place in their career where they’re not going to take time off, so we wanted to create a 21st-century flipped classroom with interactive learning.”

Participants will study:

* January 2020: Phoenix and Los Angeles

Megatrends: Understanding Future Drivers and Their Influences

* March 2020: Geneva

Sustainable Futures: Building, Tapping, and Creating Shared Value in a Changing World
