London Business School Top-ranked European Business School Third Year in a Row

London Business School remained the top European business school in the Financial Times European Business School Rankings 2016, the third consecutive year it has appeared in the Number 1 position.

The second- and third-ranked schools also remained unchanged, with HEC Paris claiming the Number 2 spot and INSEAD coming in at Number 3. IE Business School rose to fourth place, and the University of St Gallen rounded out the top five.

According to Laurent Ortmans, team statistician for the FT Business Community, “One of the main strengths of the LBS programs is the wide range of students from different countries.” In 2015, more than 90% of London Business School’s MBA participants were overseas students, from approximately 60 countries.

London Business School performed well in all of the Financial Times rankings of business schools – MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management, Open Enrollment Executive Education, and Custom Executive Education. Andrew Likierman, London Business School Dean, commented, “We are proud of the consistency of our ranking among the world’s top business schools; 2016 has been an exciting year for the school with new programs and research centers.”
