ISB, CII, and GE Partner for Compliance Management Program in India

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Indian School of Business (ISB), and GE are partnering to launch an executive education program that will enable compliance professionals to be strategic business partners. The program will allow participants to interact with each other to understand the underlying challenges in compliance management, improving their ability to advance corporate governance in Indian organizations.

The Compliance Management Programme is a 10-day program comprised of two modules, and will provide practical techniques for converting theory into practice and ensuring ethical and compliant behavior within companies. GE will provide the technical content and practical industry expertise for the program, and ISB will augment the content with its management faculty.

The program will focus on:

* Learning to build an effective compliance program
* Understanding nuances of prevention, detection, and response tools and the legal landscape governing the same
* Positioning and enabling compliance to be a strategic business partner by understanding compliance in the context of business/operations
* Gaining leadership and communication skills to push the compliance agenda internally
