INSEAD Offering Market Entry Strategy for India Program

INSEAD, ranked No. 5 by Financial Times for open enrollment executive education programs, recently announced that it will offer the Market Entry Strategy for India program, designed to equip leaders in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that are entering or expanding into India.

This six-day program, which will take place March 9 – 14, 2015 in New Delhi, will focus on issues foreign firms face when looking to expand into India, including:

– India from an economic and regulatory perspective – understanding foreign markets in general, and India in particular

– India from a socio-cultural and institutional perspective – unique insight into the mechanisms and social structures that make India work

– Creating and transferring competitive advantage through international strategy – role of competitive advantage in internationalization – and vice versa

– Developing an Indian market mindset – changing one’s conventional view to match the market reality of India

– From strategy to action – debrief on the field visits and application of learning

In addition to classroom learning, participants will take part in field visits to legal firms with experience supporting companies entering India, senior policy makers in the Indian government, and a manufacturing firm. They will also spend an evening with an Indian family.
