INSEAD and Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge Renew Agreement

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INSEAD and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (Adek) recently renewed their agreement for an additional 10 years. Under the agreement, which aims to advance Abu Dhabi’s position in the international arena as a hub for business and finance talent, INSEAD will continue to develop, operate, and manage its campus in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Adek, and Andreas Jacobs, Chairman of INSEAD’s Board of Directors, signed the agreement. Dr. Al Nuaimi says the renewal of the agreement reflects the keenness of the UAE leadership to provide advanced education, drawing from global best practices and successes. He also pointed out that the recent opening of INSEAD’s new campus in Abu Dhabi is a step forward that will enhance the emirate’s position as a beacon for higher education.

Mr. Jacobs praised the partnership with Adek and pledged further efforts to cooperate on education, noting that INSEAD was committed to providing the best methods of education to help equip future young talents and leaders with necessary skills.

In October 2017, INSEAD opened its new campus in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Adek and the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The event was attended by Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister for Tolerance; Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon, Member of the Executive Council; Dr. Ahmad Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills; and senior officials and academicians.
