Harvard Business School (HBS) is hosting an executive education program titled Driving Growth Through Innovation – India in August at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The program is designed for business owners, vice presidents, directors, and other senior managers and focuses on approaches and tools for creating more innovative companies.

According to Stefan Thomke, William Barclay Harding Professor of Business Administration at HBS, “Driving Growth Through Innovation - India is a classroom-based program with 3 ½ days of intensive sessions focused on reinventing a business model for the digital age, the day-to-day challenges of managing innovation within an organization, the road blocks that business leaders must face in order to effectively identify and maximize new opportunities, develop effective go-to market strategies, minimize current and emerging risks, and foster growth. These practical approaches will aid participants to apply the management tools, leading to immediate action once they return to their respective organizations.”

HBS faculty lead the program using the HBS case method. Professor Sunil Gupta, Edward W. Carter Professor of Business Administration Chair, points out, “The participants will discover, through numerous case studies, how to leverage digital and social media to engage with their customers and develop strategies for digital transition, how technology affects business models, market opportunities, and the value chain, and how it affects, in turn, an organization’s capabilities, scale, and organizational structure.”

Topics covered include:
