Financial Times Reveals 2016 Ranking of Executive Education Programs

 

 

 

 

 

The Financial Times announced this week the 2016 Executive Education rankings. IESE is No. 1 on the Financial Times 2016 combined ranking of executive short courses, for the second year in a row. IMD is second overall, followed by HEC Paris.

IMD retained the top spot in open enrollment programs, followed by IESE, Harvard Business School, and the University of Virginia: Darden. Here are the top 10 providers of open enrollment programs:

  1. IMD (Switzerland/Singapore)
  2. IESE Business School (Spain)
  3. Harvard Business School
  4. University of Virginia: Darden
  5. University of Michigan: Ross
  6. Center for Creative Leadership (United States/Belgium/Singapore/Russia)
  7. ESADE Business School (Spain)
  8. HEC Paris
  9. University of Oxford: Saïd
  10. Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil)

Once again, IESE earned the top ranking for custom programs. These are the top 10 providers of custom executive education:

  1. IESE Business School (Spain)
  2. HEC Paris (France)
  3. Duke Corporate Education (United States/United Kingdom/South Africa)
  4. IMD (Switzerland/Singapore)
  5. London Business School (United Kingdom)
  6. SDA Bocconi (Italy)
  7. Center for Creative Leadership (United States/Belgium/Singapore/Russia)
  8. INSEAD (France/Singapore/United Arab Emirates)
  9. Shanghai Jiao Tong University: Antai (China)
  10. Cranfield School of Management (United Kingdom)

Other top schools include Cranfield School of Management (top for international programs), University of Virginia: Darden (top for faculty), and INSEAD (top for international participants).

The Financial Times executive education rankings rate the best 75 open programs and the best 85 custom programs worldwide. This is the 18th year for the rankings, which are based on participant and client satisfaction, diversity of participants and faculty, and schools’ international exposure.
