Eruditus Executive Education Raises $8 Million from Bertelsmann India Investments

Eruditus Executive Education, provider of executive education programs, announced this week that it has raised $8 million in its Series B round from Bertelsmann India Investments.

Founded in 2010 by Ashwin Damera, Harvard Business School alumnus, and Chaitanya Kalipatnapu, INSEAD alumnus, Eruditus collaborates with top business schools including Columbia Business School, Harvard Business School, INSEAD, MIT Sloan, Tuck, and Wharton to bring their professional development programs to India, Asia, and the Middle East. It offers workshops, modular sessions, and online courses, working with clients such as Accenture, Altisource, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Microsoft, and others. Eruditus has had more than 5,000 students in over 50 countries since it began seven years ago.

The company plans to use the newly raised funds to add new programs with existing and new university partners, and to expand its geographical footprint to China, Latin America, and Europe.
