The Global Association of Master’s in Development Practice and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network are holding the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) September 21 – 22, 2016, at Lerner Hall on Columbia University’s New York Campus.

The goal of this event is to identify and share evidence-based solutions to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Featured speakers include:

Jeffrey D. Sachs, world-renowned professor of economics and leader in sustainable development, is also a senior UN advisor, best-selling author, and syndicated columnist. He has been named among Time Magazine’s 100 most influential world leaders twice, and the New York Times called him, “probably the most important economist in the world.” Professor Sachs is the Director of The Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and Director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, as well as Co-founder and Chief Strategist of Millennium Promise Alliance and Director of the Millennium Villages Project. He is one of the world’s leading experts on economic development and the fight against poverty.
