Babson College Opening New Campus in Dubai

Babson College is opening a new campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This expansion will add to Babson’s existing locations in Wellesley and Boston, Massachusetts; San Francisco, California; and Miami, Florida.

Babson, the world leader in entrepreneurship education, will bring its Babson MBA to the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). The Babson MBA – Dubai will be delivered in a blended online and face-to-face format beginning in January 2019.

In addition, Babson Executive Education will offer specialized open enrollment programs as part of the Academy at DIFC and will work with organizations in the region on custom programs. Approaches to Innovation in the U.A.E., the first open enrollment program, will take place in November 2018. In December 2018 the three-day program Growing a Business and Family Across Generations will launch, and in February 2019 the Symposia for Entrepreneurship Educators program, for faculty and administrators in the region, will take place.

According to Dr. Keith Rollag, Murata Dean of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and Professor of Management at Babson, “We’re excited to open a new campus in Dubai because this is one of the most vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems on the planet, and we want to both help Dubai and the UAE prosper.” In addition, Dubai has Babson’s largest alumni and parent population in the Middle East, with more than 800 Babson alumni in the region.

Babson’s in-person programs will take place at DFIC, the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia and an internationally recognized business district. DIFC is home to hundreds of leading institutions, including some of the worlds largest banks and corporations, emerging financial technology startups, professional service providers, wealth management firms, retailers, and others.
